POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. At a recent Nursing Spectrum roundtable, Margaret Cusumano, RN, MSN, CNO and vice president, and 12 staff nurses talked about programs and initiatives they are involved in at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
The nurses provided an overview of good things happening in nursing at the facility, and revealed how proud they are of the many contributions they are making to nursing and the quality of patient care.(Left to right) Elaine Konunchuk, RN, Circle 5, discussed the new dialysis unit; Bonnie Perkins, RN, LDRP, talked about the preshift huddle; and Ron Parkinson, RN, South Circle 6, discussed wound care and ulcer prevention with Eileen Williamson, RN (standing), at the Vassar Brothers Medical Center roundtable.
