Nurses and CNO Share Good Things at Vassar Brothers Roundtable

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — At a recent Nursing Spectrum roundtable, Margaret Cusumano, RN, MSN, CNO and vice president, and 12 staff nurses talked about programs and initiatives they are involved in at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

The nurses provided an overview of good things happening in nursing at the facility, and revealed how proud they are of the many contributions they are making to nursing and the quality of patient care.

The nurses provided an overview of good things happening in nursing at the facility, and shared the many contributions they are making to nursing and in caring for their patients, such as the new transition unit, hourly rounding, hypothermia, and evidence-based practice.
