Northern Westchester Creates a ‘Paradise’ Program

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. — Nurses in the Hudson Valley region were in for a treat when they attended the ED RN Open House and CE program June 16 at Northern Westchester Hospital.

Participants met nurse managers, toured clinical areas, learned about the ED Fellowship program, and had the opportunity to earn 1.0 hour of CE credit.

“We are proud to say that we have been very successful in pairing our Job Fair/Open House with the CE on Location program, sponsored by Nursing Spectrum. We find qualified candidates, and everyone who participates can earn CE credit and hear about what we have to offer at NWH,” says Kerry Flynn Barrett, vice president of human resources.

The CE program, “Shift to Professional Paradise: Five Steps to Less Stress, More Energy, and Remarkable Results at Work,” helped participants realize they are CPOs — chief paradise officers — of their own careers.
