The associate degree nursing program at Cochran School of Nursing at St. Johns Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, N.Y., received national accreditation from the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission Inc. Cochran is the only nursing school in Westchester County to receive this designation.

Founded in 1893, the school of nursing prides itself on providing small clinical learning sections. Students receive individualized attention from expert faculty as they learn to practice nursing. The school has an active, integrated academic program with Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.
