At the 30th annual Achievers Awards Gala on May 5, Susan Shevlin, RN, MA, MEd, assistant vice president of talent acquisition at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, was honored for her career achievements. The Long Island Center for Business & Professional Women presents six annual awards to exemplary businesswomen.
Shevlin, a New York and New Jersey Nursing Spectrum advisory board member, has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry serving academic and tertiary care medical centers and has extensive background in the development of recruitment programs for nursing and allied health. The Achievers Award recognizes businesswomen who have used their professional development on Long Island to benefit the community as a trendsetter, leader, mentor, and humanitarian.
