St. David’s HealthCare Recognizes Nurses

St. David’s HealthCare in Texas recognized more than 600 employees for service at the company’s annual Service Awards Banquet at the Renaissance Austin Hotel in April. Employees were honored for milestones in employment, ranging from five years to 40 years.

“Our culture is one of service — service to one another, to our physicians, to our community, and to our patients,” said Jon Foster, chief executive officer of St. David’s HealthCare, in a news release. “Our employees are our greatest asset and the reason that we have been able to create and sustain this culture that is vital to our mission of providing exceptional care to every patient every day.”

Nancy Fuentes, RN, center, was honored for 30 years of service.

Nineteen employees were recognized for 30 or more years of service to St. David’s HealthCare, including the following nurses:

Linda Allyn, RN, St. David’s Medical Center, Austin

Carolyn Bowlin, RN, St. David’s Medical Center

Marta Del Toro, RN, St. David’s North Austin Medical Center

Nancy Fuentes, RN, St. David’s Medical Center

Celia Harris, RN, center, also was honored for 30 years of service.
