The 28-bed Loma Linda University Heart & Surgical Hospital, which opened Jan. 6, offers cardiac diagnostic services, minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, urology, and ear, nose, and throat and women’s surgical procedures.

The $110 million, two-story facility has six surgical suites with movable operating tables, adjustable lighting, and overhead booms, as well as two da Vinci surgical robots.

The 20 patient rooms have their own balconies, as well as heavy doors and double-pane glass windows to enhance privacy.
