Azusa Pacific Professor Receives Fulbright Scholarship

Azusa, Calif. — Pamela Cone, RN, PhD, CNS, assistant professor and director of international programs for nursing at Azusa Pacific University, has received a Fulbright Scholarship to conduct research in Norway.

Cone, the School of Nursing’s second Fulbright scholar, will teach qualitative research methods with a focus on grounded theory and serve as a methodologist for doctoral students at the University of Bergen’s nursing school.

Her main research involves a study of nursing students, faculty, and alumni, exploring the preparation for spiritual caregiving that nurses believe they receive during their nursing education.

Cone’s six months of study begin in August.
