NJHA Appoints New Board Member
Edna Cadmus, senior vice president, Patient Care Services, Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, Englewood, N.J., was appointed a New Jersey Hospital Association, Princeton, N.J., board member, and has been appointed president of the Organization of Nurse Executives of New Jersey (ONE/NJ) for a two-year term.
St. Josephs Honors Nurse

Chilton Nurse Receives C.A.R.E. Award
Mary RichMary Rich, VP/CNE, Chilton Memorial Hospital (r), recently received the C.A.R.E. (Clinical Practice Administration Research Education) Award for Excellence in Nursing Administration from the New Jersey State Nurses Association.
The award was presented at the NJSNA Annual New Jersey Nursing Convention at the Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City.
Nurse Certifications
Anne Carpenter, Short Hills Surgery Center, Millburn, N.J., recently passed the CRNO exam and is now a certified registered nurse in ophthalmology. Michele Glowinski, Lisa Hamilton, Priscilla Heffernan, Ann Luciuk, Jane Mueller, and Kristin White, Cardiac PACU, Morristown Memorial Hospital, Atlantic Health System, Morristown, N.J., recently received CCRN certifications and are now critical care registered nurses.
Nurse Receives National Recognition
Lucille Joel will receive the Honorary Recognition Award for distinguished service to the nursing profession from the American Nurses Association June 26, as part of its 2008 Biennial House of Delegates meeting in Washington, D.C. Joel has served as president of the New Jersey Nurses Association and president of the American Nurses Association.

Nurse Establishes LPN School
