Debbie Green, RN, is the new director of nursing services at Annie Penn Hospital, Reidsville, N.C. She transferred from a similar position in Moses Cone Health System. She has been with Moses Cone Health System since 1993. After the merger with Moses Cone Health System in 2001, she worked with Annie Penn Hospital’s 260 nurses to standardize care with the health system. Green earned her a post-master’s certificate as a nurse practitioner from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She earned her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Virginia. She remains involved in nursing research.
Also in Moses Cone news, Lynda Moss, RN, is the new department director of the medical-psychiatric department at Wesley Long Community Hospital, Greensboro, N.C. Moss joined Wesley Long Community Hospital in 2007 as a night staff nurse on the oncology unit. Previously, she was a department director for oncology at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
Sylvia McCauley, RN, BSN, will be the interim director of the heart department at The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. McCauley came to the department as assistant director in 2006. Previously, she was a clinical nurse manager at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
