Sandra Greene

Sandra Greene is the new nurse manager at the Wartburg Adult Care Community Skilled Nursing Center in Mount Vernon, N.Y.

Val Chapman-Wilson has been appointed clinical coordinator, and Martha Oates has been certified as a hospice and palliative nurse at Life Source Hospice, Paramus, N.J.

Debbie Aston was appointed Performance Improvement clinical coordinator and Joint Commission team leader, and Tara Buckenmyer-McNeel was appointed head nurse, Pediatrics, Same Day Services, for the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, N.J.

Bonnie Michaels has been appointed vice president, CNO, at Mountainside Hospital, Montclair, N.J. Michaels is also a member of the Regional Spectrum Advisory Board. Alice Campanelli has been elected Northeast chapters coordinator-elect (CCE) of the American Nephrology Nurses’ Association (ANNA), Pitman, N.J., for 2008-09.

Peggy Lauro and Jackie DiBernardo, from Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, N.J., were recently awarded oncology nursing certifications from the Oncology Nursing Society.

Karen Whitmore has achieved certification as a wound care specialist at Somerset Medical Center, Somerville, N.J. Vilma Mendoza, ICU 3rd shift, and Sherr Ann Arabit, Coronary Care & Staff Development, have achieved the designation of CCRN; and Kathleen Small, Case Management, is now a certified case manager (CCM) at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy and Old Bridge Divisions.
