I am a nurse on a residential service license. What insurance should I get?

Question:

Dear Donna,

I am a nurse on a residential service license. What insurance should I get?

Susan

Dear Donna replies:

Dear Susan,

What type of insurance you need depends on what type of work you are doing in nursing and where you are working or wish to work — not on what type of license you have. Contact your nursing malpractice insurer to discuss this. If you do not currently have an insurance company that you work with, contact your state nurses association for some recommendations.

Best Wishes,
Donna
