Nurses Form Washington Research Group

A group of nursing faculty members, nurse administrators and clinical nurses have teamed up to form the Washington Regional Nursing Research Consortium (WRNRC).

The group, which will conduct its next meeting Jan. 29 at George Washington University (GWU) in Washington, shares a commitment to, and interest in, advancing nursing research in the region, says Nalini Jairath, RN, PhD, dean and associate professor of the Catholic University of America School of Nursing.

The group currently is focused on research dissemination and development and its projects include poster presentations at the recent American Nurses Association meeting, and serving as a resource on research infrastructure development grants.

There is no cost and no membership application to join the group.
