Marisa L. Wilson, DNSc, MHSc, RN-BC, CPHIMS, is a leader within healthcare with a wide variety of experience spanning roles such as epidemiologist, research statistician, registered nurse, clinical instructor, information systems support analyst and project leader, and professor. Wilson is currently an associate professor and director of nursing informatics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing. She is a published author and international presenter. She was honored as an Informatics Innovator, Nursing Informatics, 2014 by the International Medical Informatics Association.
