Kim Maryniak, PhD(c), MSN, RNC-NIC, has over 28 years nursing experience with medical/surgical, psychiatry, pediatrics, progressive care, and adult and neonatal intensive care. She has been a staff nurse, charge nurse, educator, instructor, manager, and nursing director. Kim has a nursing diploma, a Bachelor in Nursing, and a Master of Science in Nursing. She is certified in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing and is currently completing her PhD in Nursing. Kim’s current and previous roles include research utilization, nursing peer review and advancement, education, use of simulation, quality, process improvement, leadership development, infection control, patient throughput, nursing operations, professional practice, and professional development.
