Deborah K. Zastocki, DNP, EdM, MA, RN, NEA-BC, FACHE(r), is founder and president of Legacy Healthcare Management Consulting, LLC, in Naples, Fla. With more than 30 years of experience, her professional career has been highlighted as a clinical professional, author, educator, and healthcare executive. Zastocki’s new endeavors include authoring professional educational courses; healthcare consulting, focusing on organization and leadership transformational change; and executive business and wellness coaching. Formerly, as president and CEO of Chilton Medical Center, in Pompton Plains, N.J., Zastocki spearheaded an ambitious $24 million renovation and modernization project that not only transformed the hospital’s facilities but also the way in which it delivered care. Zastocki successfully led the organization through the many phases of the merger process with Atlantic Health System, including planning and analysis, implementation, and integration.
