Abigail Butts

MS, RN, CNS, CCRN

Abigail Butts, MS, RN, CNS, CCRN is originally from Oakton, Virginia, and received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Virginia in 1999. After graduation, she worked primarily on the medical intensive care unit (MICU) at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. In 2005, she received my master’s degree from the Acute and Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist program at Georgetown University. For five years, she held the position Sepsis Coordinator and currently work as the Clinical Educator for the MICU. Additional experience includes a former part-time faculty position at Georgetown University in the role of a clinical instructor for undergraduate nursing students and an active membership in AACN.
