Description: Meets the need for education and support of patients with coronary heart disease who are making lifestyle changes to prevent worsening of the disease. Monitors patients during physical workouts to prevent overexertion and/or injury

Characteristics: Strong teaching and cardiac assessment skills

Drawbacks: Patient resistance and nonadherence to prescribed therapy; patient relapse, emergencies
