This organization specializes in the comprehensive treatment of burns. They provide acute care and reconstruction, as well as rehabilitation and psychological counseling. They operate hospital-based burn clinics and have dedicated inpatient units. Their staff of more than 20 dedicated individuals work in a positive, team-oriented environment.
The new provider willfunction as first assist for surgery and will be partnered with a reconstructive burn surgeon.
All work will be within the scope of acute surgical burn care, reconstructive care, burn clinic services, and related areas. Patients are all ages.
This position will work shifts in the hospital-based clinic, as well as within the 7-bed inpatient burn unit - encompassing inpatient care, outpatient care, and surgical assistance.
The organization utilizes the Cerner EHR.
On-call responsibilities consistof 10 weekdays per month and every 3rd weekend.
The practice will provide all necessary training; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- California NP or PA license
- ability to see patients of all ages
- eligibility for hospital privileges and credentialing with major insurance plans
- no prior experience required; new grads are welcome
