The Manager of Clinical Informatics serves as the primary facility resource for the hospital-based technology implementations, post implementation support, and as the liaison to IS. The Manager of Clinical Informatics will work closely with the operational clinical teams, CMIO, other informatics leaders, IS Project Managers, IS project teams, and IS Director to coordinate and represent the hospital. The role coordinates and champions the technology activities and acts as a change agent for their use in patient care. This role further serves as a hospital operational leaders and partners to measure the efficacy and efficiency of implementations and post-implementation processes. The role provides end user support at times as necessary. The position will require flexible and extended work hours and some travel to other Baylor Scott & White Facilities.

The Ideal Manager of Clinical Informatics will have the following, but not limited to:



  • Will be an experienced clinician (preferable RN) and have experience leading technology projects and providing on-going support.


  • Highly proficient with successfully completing complex system related projects.

    Skilled communicator with the ability to influence colleagues and leaders toward goals.

    Comfortable leading diverse groups and providing presentations

    Self-started and able to work both independently and in teams

      Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
