Job Description

The Employee Nurse id directly responsible for providing direct professional nursing services i.e., employee health, health screenings and educational programs to staff at outside business per Visiting Nurse Health System contract arrangement.

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, preferably have a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.

Licensure/Certifications: Must have a current and valid Georgia State Board of Nursing License. Must possess a current valid Drivers license and CPR certification.

Previous Experience: At least 2 years of nursing experience as a LPN. Medical/Surgical experience a plus. A minimum of 1 year in providing community or occupational health nursing preferred.

Knowledge/Training: Certified CPR Instructor. Must be skilled in performing clinical procedures and physical assessments in order to provide safe and effective care, have knowledge of principles of pharmacology, laboratory procedures, current wellness and safety trends, physical and psycho-social needs of adults and community resources. Must possess computer skills.
