The Director, Oncology Care Nursing, will provide leadership of the Oncology nursing practice in the Oncology Infusion Center, the Hematology/Oncology outpatient clinic and support of the Radiation Oncology nursing practice. This position will 1) lead the efforts in developing & defining the Nurse Navigator and the RN Care Manager roles; 2) collaborate with medical providers in development and continuous improvement of clinical pathways 3) work with Satellite management teams to expand oncology infusion services; 4) work with Survivorship Program Director in expanding Survivorship services 5) prepare and assist with implementing Oncology EMR/CPOE 6) expand coordination of cancer services throughout the continuum of care.
Required Qualifications: Current WA State RN license; Masters in Nursing, Business Administration or related field. 7 years progressively responsible clinic management experience; Oncology nursing experience; proven effectiveness for developing highly engaged, service focused teams; the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and concisely to a variety of audiences; and strong Human Resources skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Oncology Nursing Certification; Experience with Cerner's Oncology Power Form or other Oncology EMR; Lean Certified or experience with Lean methodology.
