St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center has an exceptional infection prevention team dedicated to promoting patient safety by reducing the risk of infectious outcomes in our patients, visitors and employees who are affiliated with our Hospital and its affiliated Programs and Clinics.
JOIN US NOW as we are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic Infection Control Specialist / Registered Nurse to become a member of the Infection Prevention team. As a key member of the team you will assist in developing Infection Control strategies, assess surveillance documents to identify "high risk" diagnosis/lab reports, review medical records for evidence of heath care associated infections and conduct targeted surveillance to meet regulatory requirements and identify potential outbreaks.

REQUIREMENTS: Completion of RN program.
Epidemiology educ (CDC, APIC or other approved course)
Two years recent experience in Infection Control in an acute care setting
AZ RN license
Strong verbal/written communication skills
Proficient computer skills
PREFERRED:
Certification in Infection Control
