Providence is calling a Nurse Midwife. We're seeking an individual who performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Mission and Philosophy of our founders, the Sisters of Providence.
Position Specifics. This position is located at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, WA. 0.0, On Call, rotating & variable hours & shifts. Department: Midwife Care Center. Location: Pavilion for Women and Children in Everett, WA. Job Summary: Independently manages midwifery care described in the Components of the American College of Nurse-Midwives and according to the Standards of the ACNM, within the scope of state licensure and the Medical Staff By-Laws of Providence Everett Medical Center. Delivers antpepartum, intrapartum, posrtpartum and newborn period care. Supports the mission and core values of Providence Health & Services through responsible and effective work performance. REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required; Master’s degree in Nurse Midwifery is preferred.
Licenses/Certifications: Basic Life Support Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Certification, Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License as a Certified Nurse-Midwife, and eligible for expanded Prescriptive Authority to be obtained upon hire.
Experience: Previous experinece in this area of practice preferred.
