General Summary:The Lead Nurse coordinates the clinical operations and activities of the clinic. The Lead Nurse is responsible for assisting the patient care flow in the clinic and may provide direct patient care. The Lead Nurse will facilitate the workflow in the area by distributing workload assignments based on patient schedules, phone demands, etc. The Lead Nurse will maintain compliance to nursing standards and regulatory requirements, and will assist physicians in delivering quality health care to patients taking into account the patients’ age-related needs.

Required:Current Oregon LPN/RN license. CPR certification. Skills assessing vital signs, providing direct patient care, managing time effectively, and practicing safety techniques. Knowledge, skills and abilities acquired through obtaining a college degree in nursing and 1-3 years related experience in an ambulatory setting, preferably in a medical office. Demonstrated knowledge of age-specific care for geriatric, adult, young adults, and pediatric patients applicable to clinic. Travel to multiple Clinics.

Preferred:Supervisory experience. Cardiology experience & Case Management experience with Coumadin patients preferred.
