Department: Ophthalmology Clinic
Salary:  Min. $14.52 per hour, DOE.
Hours:  Part-time (0.8 FTE), days/evenings.
Location:  Hospital Main Campus


Provide ophthalmologic technical assistance and expertise as well as applying the knowledge and skill necessary to provide appropriate interactions with staff, patients and families. Assure optimal front to back office clinic flow as well as completing chart preparation, patient appointment and surgery scheduling duties, and accurate coordination of medical records and fee sheets.

Required: High School graduate or equivalent. Ophthalmologic Assistant Certification within six months of hire. Patient Care Coordination experience.

Preferred: One year experience in an ophthalmology practice, preferable pediatrics.
