Our Clinical Scholars Program offers talented senior-year nursing students an opportunity to earn valuable Nursing Scholarship financial assistance while supporting their smooth transition from the classroom to the professional workplace. The Program is available to University of Maryland, School of Nursing and Stevenson University nursing students only.

Qualified students in a Bachelor of Science or Clinical Nurse Leader Program receive a scholarship amount based on the length of employment commitment they make to UMMC after graduation:

A $5,000 Nursing Scholarship is awarded for an 18-month commitment

To be eligible for the Clinical Scholars Program, you must be entering your senior year in a BSN or Clinical Nurse Leader Program, have a GPA of 3.0 or greater and sit for the NCLEX exam within 60 days of graduation from your nursing program.
