Clinical Associate
Department: 6 East
Schedule: Full-Time
Shift: Days/Nights every other weekend
Hours: 7A-7p /7P-7A

The Clinical Associate maintains a collaborative relationship with the RN and other members of the multidisciplinary health care team. Under the direction of an RN, works as an associate with advanced training in specific clinical skills/competencies on the health care team. Observes patients, provides skilled nursing care and maintains the patient environment in an outcome oriented, safe, therapeutic, compassionate and cost-effective manner. Duties and responsibilities are based on what serves the patients and the team at any given time and are determined in collaboration with the team leader.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Completion of Clinical Associate or Patient Care Technician training course or comparable training/job experience and ability to demonstrate needed skills. Basic life support training/certification. Verbal and written communication skills. High school or GED. Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English. CPR training is required (BLS for Healthcare Providers and Heartsaver/AED are required for all CA employees).
