Provides supervision and leadership to Cardiac Rehab Unit. Specific functions include: assists manager with staff evaluations, patient flow, triage and bed placement coordination, staff and patient/family education, services as patient/guest service ambassador, and assists with problem solving on tour of duty. Additionally, coordinates staffing and nursing assignments for current and oncoming shift. Participates in hourly rounding and ensures compliance of same. Ensures that services are provided within the philosophy and objectives as well as policies and procedures of the hospital and Baptist Health South Florida
Current Florida/Valid RN license to practice nursing in the State of Florida; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). Advanced skills preferred; or must currently be matriculating or must commit to acquiring a Bachelor's Degree within a written and agreed upon timeframe. Three (3) years clinical experience in a acute care setting.
Must be able to work in the Cardiac Stress Lab. Understands all the required Credentials that are required for this Unit. Computer experience is required. Excellent Interpersonal/Organizational and Communication Skills are required.
