Nurse Manager for Critical Care and Radiology (HJD)
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Nurse Manager for Critical Care and Radiology. To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, with Master's degree in Nursing prefered, a current New York State RN license, current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications with the American Heart Association and at least 4 years of relevant Nursing experience in Critical Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for direct patient care; clinical prioritization and coordination for patient care activities; participation in development/ evaluation of staff; involvement in the development of unit/ service goals and participation in unit/service quality and performance improvement activities. Provides and integrates clinical leadership and management of a designated unit of patient care on a twenty four hour basis, consistent with the philosophy and goals of the institution, Departments of Nursing, and clinical service; develops and sustains an environment of excellence in patient / family service, growth and development of staff, and application of evidenced-based practice.
