Job Summary: Supports the Magnet Program Manager in all aspects of requirements associated with Magnet designation project requests. Assists in coordinating the achievement of Magnet Recognition at FMLH. Assists Nursing Governance Councils and Committees, the Director of Patient Systems and Support, Inpatient Directors of Nursing, Inpatient Nurse Managers and Assistant Nurse Managers, performing a wide range of functions to support the timely execution and deadlines of plans and projects in support of FMLH and of Froedtert Health. Duties include assisting in meeting the goals of project initiatives. Responsible for management of policy and procedure revisions for the Division of Patient Care Services. Responsible for other duties as assigned.

Experience: Minimum of five years advanced experience as an Administrative Coordinator or Administrative Assistant with experience in project coordination, data collection, data entry, statistical reporting and analysis is required.

Education: Associates degree in Secretarial Science, Administrative Assistant or in a healthcare field is required. In lieu of degree, an additional 2 years of experience in an advanced administrative support role in healthcare setting is required. Bachelors degree in a healthcare or business related field is preferred.

Special Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and computer systems. Microsoft Access knowledge preferred. Strong documentation writing and communication skills. Demonstrated analytical and creative skills. Solid skills in the areas of assessment and resourcefulness. Ability to apply knowledge and scientific reasoning. Ability to identify critical issues and exercise independent judgment and manage multiple priorities. Excellent follow-up skills a must. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines. Demonstrated detail orientation and ability to perform basic and semi-complex arithmetic calculations, ability to work as part of a team. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
