Position Summary

To provide leadership in the strategic and daily operations of this clinical service. This includes developing and maintaining physician relations, empowering clinical care givers through solicitation of input and implementation of actions to improve delivery of patient care. Responsible for planning, organizing, directing and evaluating the administrative functions of this clinical service. He/she will supervise the delivery of patient care and has the responsibility for establishing standards of nursing practice for the service. Aassure achievement of department goals and adherence to hospital policies and standards set forth by accreditation and regulatory agencies

Education Requirements: (i.e., BSN, High School Diploma, GED)

Masters or equivalent experience in Health care preferred

Work Experience:

2 years or more in management or proven clinical leadership within medical/surgical services

License/Certifications: here (i.e., BLS, ACLS)

Colorado RN License;
