St. Cloud Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Acute Kidney Dialysis Unit in St. Cloud, MN. The Registered Nurse manages and provides plasma exchange and dialysis care during a hemo or peritoneal therapy. Age-appropriate care is provided to patients and families. Some travel within central Minnesota is necessary to other contracted facilities for services. Schedule will include call.

*Ability to take off-premise on-call and evening/night treatments as needed.*
Graduate from a nursing program required. Baccalaureate or Masters in Nursing preferred. A minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing must be obtained within five years for those hired into an RN position on or after May 1, 2014.
Minimum of one-year dialysis experience preferred. One year Med/Surg/Critical Care experience preferred. Knowledge of nursing principles, policies, procedures, and hospital ethics required.

Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required prior to completion of unit orientation. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred. Nephrology nursing certification preferred. American Nephrology Nurses Association (ANNA) membership preferred. Acute, hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis as well as therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE) training completed prior to independent work.
