This position supports clinical staff in an area of specialization for the advancement of clinical practice and professional development. Utilizes innovative education planning and programming; demonstrates expertise in clinical practice; collaborates and consults with clinical administrative disciplines for new programs and service improvement. Demonstrates leadership through role modeling, mentoring and utilizing research principles to facilitate and promote evidence based practice. The clinician is recognized for clinical and educational expertise.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Licensed in the State of Florida.BSN. MSN preferred.-BLS, ACLS,CCRN,BLS instructor, ACLS instructor. -Minimum of 3 years of clinical teaching. Clinical expertise in Med/Surge, Ortho/Neuro setting. -Evaluates the educational needs in Med/Surge/Bariatrics. Facilitates and provides education to staff to meet the department level of competency. Develops education plan, facilitates and promotes evidence based practice.
