The Senior Director of emergency services ensures the department's effective and optimal operation for the St. Rose market. Such responsibilities encompass not only the department's internal functioning but also how it is integrated into the organization's overall operation. Senior Directors create an environment or culture that enables the department and entire organization to fulfill its mission and meet or exceed its goals. Seeks to promote and helps to maintain through interactions with others, within and outside their departments a positive, professional team oriented and service conscious environment. The Senior Director of Emergency services will build a strong internal team and deliver excellence in care and patient, staff and medical staff satisfaction. The Senior Director is responsible for engaging external partners such as EMS services, to achieve shared goals and continued quality improvement.

Minimum - Ten years in acute care setting with five years or greater in a supervisory position. Must have three to five years of successful management experience at Director level and a demonstrated record in obtaining results in patient experience, staff engagement, safety and quality in high-volume adult and pediatric ED.
Preferred - Experience building/managing Trauma programs
Minimum - MSN or BSN w/Masters Degree in a business or healthcare (MBA, MHA, etc)
Preferred - MSN/MHA or MSN/MBA
Must be able to influence and motivate nursing and medical staff for outcomes.
RN = RN license from NV State Nursing Board.
CT CPRBLS = Basic Life Support CPR.
