  • Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville, Georgia, has an exciting opportunity for aRegistered Nursein ourLabor and Delivery Unit!

    Delivering close to 4,000 babies each year, our unit features 18 LDR rooms, 8 Antepartum rooms, 8 Triage rooms, 4 OR Suites and a 5 bay Phase II PACU.

    Our multi-disciplinary team enjoys a collaborative work environment and their mutual respect for each other and their shared passion for providing quality care to those we serve fosters a bond among our team members that is truly special. We are fortunate to be able to work with state-of-the-art clinical technology that promotes an efficient work environment and allows our caregivers more time to focus on providing excellent care to our patients. Our RNs benefits from a wide range of continuing education classes that are based on the latest evidence in nursing practice.

    With a nursing leadership team that is highly engaged and responsive to the needs of both staff and patients,RNs benefit from a philosophy of shared governance that seeks continual advice and opinions from RNs when important decisions are to be made. New initiatives and ideas for process improvement are embraced in our Labor and Delivery Unit.

    Applicants to this position must have a minimum of 2 years recent experience as a RN providing care to expectant mothers in Labor and Delivery.
