St. Francis Regional Medical Center, located in Shakopee, Minn., provides an array of patient care services, including The Family Birth Place, Breast Center, Cancer Center, pediatric care, rehabilitation and sports medicine, as well as a range of health education and support groups.   • Assessments - Collects, prioritizes, and synthesizes comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation
  • Diagnosis - Analyzes assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses
  • Outcomes Identifications - Identifies expected outcomes individualized to the patient
  • Planning - Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes
  • Implementation - Implements the identified plan
  • Evaluation - Evaluates the patient’s progress towards attainment of the outcome
  • Quality of Practice - Systematically enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice
  • Education - Attains knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • New graduate hires must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing which is inclusive of a clinical rotation in an acute care facility (American Association of Colleges of Nursing or National League for Nursing)
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Minnesota (Current WI nursing license for River Falls Hospital)
  • Basic Life Support (per American Heart Association guidelines) within 90 days of hire
  • Graduate of MN Board approved school, BSN
  • Graduate of a WOCN accredited Enterstomal Therapy Nursing Education program
  • Current RN MN license, Current board certification (e.g. WOCNCB) in ET nursing required upon hire
  • 3-5 years Enterostomal Therapy Nursing experience preferred
  • Casual position
  • Day Shift (Monday-Friday)
  • MNA Contract
