Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for the site, is responsible for managing assigned Patient Care Service goals and projects. Directs and/or assists in the preparation of a variety of strategic and operational tactics and makes recommendations for operational improvements. Identifies areas of opportunity, develops proposals for program development, strategies and revisions to existing programs. Presents findings and recommendations to administrative staff, medical staff and management personnel. Directs appropriate committees and teams as the designee of the CNO. Ensures follow up and implementation of recommendations and decisions. Assists the CNO to address critical issues and manage critical projects with hospital-wide impact. Creates solutions to complex issues in the areas of customer service, patient care, patient care operations, physician relations and support. Assumes other special activities and responsibilities as directed. Monitors and assures compliance with legal and regulatory requirement, as well as DMC policy. Implements required regulatory recommendations.
