In March 2015, Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) Braselton will open its doors and bring exceptional healthcare directly to the Greater Braselton community.   NGMC Braselton will bring new medical services — modeled around the programs of excellence NGHS has built at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

NGMC Braselton is a place where innovation and teams meet to focus on patients and families, our nurses who specialize in caring for medical and surgical patients make up a special team.  Medical surgical nurses practice with autonomy, while partnering with our physicians and other members of the care team.  NGMC provides for Nurses to have voice in practice through shared governance, as well as promoting balance in their professional and personal life.

Playing a key role in meeting the needs of our patients is the nursing care that is delivered on our 3 inpatient units.  Inpatient units feature 24/7 hospitalist coverage, an advanced facility design, and state of the art clinical technology as part of an innovative care model. Our team enjoys a collaborative work environment, transcending position or title. Mutual respect and passion for providing quality care to those we serve, fosters a bond among our team members that is truly special.

Applicants to this position must have a minimum of three years of recent experience as an RN in a hospital based leadership role and Current RN License for the state of Georgia. BLS required.

*The Patient Care Facilitator Role (PCF) is a new role which incorporates the many roles of the nurse including Leadership, Education, and Performance improvement  into a Bedside Capable Leader focused on the whole of the patient population and staff in a small group environment.  This is the next step in Bedside Nursing Leadership.
