Director of Nursing Intensive Care Units
Responsible on a department head level to support the mission of the Mount Sinai- Beth Israel and the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Patient Care Services. Directs the nursing operations of the intensive care units (SICU, MICU), step down units, and specialty units.
Requires: NYS RN with BSN and Master’s degree in nursing or related field with at least 10 years progressive acute care hospital experience. Candidates must have a demonstrated track record of participative management, along with the ability to develop and implement Shared Governance Council Structure and to develop and manage complex budgets. Critical care nursing experience required. CCRN preferred.
