    OurClinical Practice Specialistwill lead our team of Nurse Educators and Staff RNs to advance the professional practice of nursing through the development and implementation of models for nursing care incorporating the latest evidence-based practices.

    As the clinical expert, ourClinical Practice Specialistwill provide support for the professional development of our nursing staff through active involvement in complex patient conditions, the development of an educational platform from which to provide education on the latest evidence-based nursing practices and through the integration of research into the clinical environment.

    As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, ourClinical Practice Specialistwill influence the development of system performance standards that are designed to improve patient outcomes and will help to determine what nursing interventions will best predict the achievement of quality, cost-effective patient care and outcomes.

    OurClinical Practice Specialistwill serve the patients and staff in our Intensive Care Unit and our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit which has a combined total of 65 beds as well as our three Progressive Cardiac Care Units with a total of 100 beds.

    Applicants to this position must have a minimum of three years experience as a RN providing care to adults in a Cardiac Unit.A master’s degree with a focus on Nurse Education is also required.
