Job description:
The Department of Otolaryngology (ENT) provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for children who have ear nose and throat disorders. Our clinics not only treat children with general ENT concerns but also provide specialized care for children with airway obstruction hearing loss rhinitis/nasal obstruction and voice disorders. Candidate requires own transportation to regional and suburban locations as necessary.

The Ambulatory RN meets the Care Manager responsibilities and competencies in assisting patients to move rapidly uneventfully safely and as effectively as possible through their episode of care. The RN provides supervises and delegates patient care; plans for education and discharge; and provides for patient safety and quality.

Other information:

1. EDUCATION: Graduate of an approved school of nursing BSN highly preferred. If AD hired after Jan1 2012 must successfully complete BSN in 5 years of start date

2. LICENSURE: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.

3. Three years pediatric clinical experience or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred.


Provides safe and competent care for the following groups of patients; neonates pediatric adolescents and
selected adult patients.


Must be able to see hear stand walk speak read and perform manual tasks with or without accommodation and care for oneself with little or no difficulty.

Must be able to independently lift up to 25 lbs.

Must be able to move or reposition patients of any weight or size with the assistance of another person (s) and/or equipment.
