JOIN US NOW as we are seeking an exceptional Registered Nurse (RN) to provide oversight of the activities on a nursing unit during a specific shift including serving as a resource to staff, directing patient flow, assuring appropriate utilization of resources, and providing oversight for the provision of quality care in a manner satisfying to patients for our Medical Surgical/Oncology Department.
The 3rd floor MEDICAL-SURGICAL unit at Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 28 bed service line, with emphasis on oncology/chemotherapy specialization. The RN staff work 12 hours shits with ancillary staffing personnel. The unit works collaboratively with other disciplines for quality outcomes. Patient Care Conferences are held weekly, a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. The staff encourages patient-family centered care. The unit is staffed based on acuity based staffing. There are 3 isolation rooms on unit, all private beds.
Located in the City of Chandler, Az, a suburb of Phoenix, this position is critical to the success of Chandler Regional Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission ofDignity Health.
Two (2) years RN experience within applicable clinical specialty
Current AZ State RN License in good standing
Current BLS card. Certification within the specialty within 24 months of hire
