This position requires at least 1-year experience as a RN in an Oncology unit, Knowledge of: Care of the patient in the Oncology setting, Ability to: Supervise staff utilizing a collaborative team approach as well as clinically care for patients in this setting. Candidates must have a CA RN, ACLS, BLS from the American Heart Association, Procedural Sedation, Ventilator Management, Chemotherapyand Telemetry Certifications. Other certifications may be required.

The incumbent is responsible for providing direction and clinical supervision of patient care for specific shift, patient population and assigned staff. The incumbent is a professional caregiver with requisite clinical and supervisory experience. The role promotes an atmosphere that is responsive to the needs of patients, nursing staff, and physicians. The incumbent is knowledgeable of and supports the philosophy, goals and objectives of the department.
