Position Summary



 



Provides assessment, support and counseling to living donors. Provides support to physicians and hospital personnel to assist in providing optimal support of donor candidates. Ensures protection of the rights of living donors and prospective living donors. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.



 



Minimum Education Requirements



 



Bachelor’s degree in Nursing OR



Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychologist, Divinity or related



 



Minimum Experience Requirements



 



Three years recent experience in a healthcare setting



• Previous transplant experience, preferred



• Demonstrates clinical and ethical professionalism, conflict resolution and critical thinking skills.



 



License/Certifications



 



Current Colorado State License in clinical discipline in one of the following if applicable to education: Registered Nurse (RN), Clinical Social Worker (CSW) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Clinical Psychologist (PSY) or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
