The purpose of this position is to provide leadership and management of clinic operations of ambulatory nursing staff. The Manager, Clinic Nursing, collaborates with clinic leadership in the management and delivery of primary care services. This position will maximize the role of nursing in the daily operations of ambulatory primary care services. In collaboration with clinic leadership, this position will hire, manage, coach and develop the ambulatory nursing personnel at the clinic sites in support of Virginia Mason's mission, vision and values.


  • Current WA State RN license
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • 3 or more years of experience as an RN supervisor or Manager
  • Demonstrated skill in prioritizing the demands of daily operations and organizing resources
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills and conflict mediation skills
  • Demonstrated skill in facilitating change and building effective teams

Preferred: Master's degree in Nursing
