In this key role, the Manager will be responsible for directing the activities of the Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Department. This will encompass facilitating modifications to clinical documentation to ensure accurate depiction of the level of clinical services and patient severity through extensive concurrent interaction with physicians, nursing staff and other caregivers, case management and medical records coding staff. In addition, you will serve as resource to physicians and others and facilitates education based on data analysis.

To qualify, candidates must possess current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Illinois, with a Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred). Bachelor's prepared candidates must complete Master's program within 3-5 years of start date.

Additional requirements include: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience with knowledge of DRGs, coding, utilization review, core measures, patient safety goals, and/or quality data reporting as well as expertise in a project management leadership role, team leader/assistant manager or coordinator experience desired.
