ASSOCIATE DEGREE NURSING PROGRAM

The Shepherd University Associate Degree Nursing program is seeking a nursing instructor with strong medical-surgical and/or OB/GYN competencies relevant to instructional area for fall 2014 semester. The faculty work closely together in the RN Program and applicants must possess a knowledge base of registered nursing roles. Responsibilities include teaching clinical/laboratory content.
QUALIFICATIONS OF INSTRUCTORS (THEORY/CLINICAL):
Bachelor’s or higher degree from an accredited college or university which includes course work in nursing, education or administration.
More than five years of working experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care within five years in advanced med-surg units.
Three years of clinical teaching experience related to RN Programs (ADN or BSN program) in nursing schools.
