Serves in the role of liaison between the Emergency Department, Medical Units and contracted physicians. Responsible for performing initial clinical evaluations as well as recommendations for disposition and assisting with arranging continuity of care. Evaluations are completed utilizing a general systems model examining the biological, psychological and social aspects of each patient while focusing on a strengths based perspective.
Work Experience Requirements
2 years psych experience and demonstrates a working knowledge of theories of psychology and/or chemical dependency
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field.
RN licensed in the State of Colorado
