Position Summary


Under the direction of the Manager, Interventional Services the STEMI Quality Coordinator is responsible for extracting data from various internal and external databases and developing reports and displays in support of performance improvement projects. This includes the use of appropriate statistical tools such as control charts, cause-effect diagrams, pareto charts, etc., and requires an understanding of the principles of CQI and performance improvement. The associate is responsible for working collaboratively with managers, directors, physicians and others. This position requires the ability to utilize and operate microcomputer equipment and programs, and the ability to program and utilize computer workstation functions (database, work-processing, spreadsheets, and chart and graph programs, ex. VISIO). This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education/Training/Experience

RN with recent Cath Lab or ED experience preferred.

A minimum of 1 year experience in cardiovascular registry and statistical reporting

Experience in data analysis; ability to translate data into management reporting

Medical terminology


Licenses/Certifications

Current CA RN License

CPHQ preferred

CurrentBLS-C (AHA)
