Perinatology Research Branch/ National Institutes of Health/Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NIH/NICHD) in partnership with Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, seeks qualified candidates for our research nurse positions.
Our premiere maternal and infant health and disease research group is made up of world experts dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in education and research leading to the improvement of the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disorders related to infant mortality.
We are seeking highly skilled staff members to work as part of a team providing high-level support in a fast paced, demanding environment.
Study procedures related to Institutional Review Board protocols
Data management and chart review
Interaction with PRB faculty, researchers, and staff
Provide safe preservation of biological specimens including maternal blood, amniotic fluid, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, umbilical cord blood, uterine vein blood, uterine and placental fluid
Accurately complete demographic/data collection forms
Additional duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan
Prior research experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact with faculty, paraprofessionals and ancillary staff in a professional manner
